2020 Claroscuro Marietta - Bodega de Arte Malbec 0.75 Ltr. Tinto
picture of

Dark blue to purple tones. Dark fruit is accompanied by remarkably floral tones (typical of the Vista Flores terroir) and other complex tones obtained by ripening. Due to the cool vintage, this translates mainly into rose aromas. Typical Malbec features: Intense but soft and elegant. Nice and juicy final. Delicious glass of wine!

Various meat dishes such as steak or fillet pur, veal chops, horse meat, stews and soft to medium-aged cheeses.

climate

The summers are hot and dry and can reach 40° C. But the nights cool to 15-20° which helps to produce refreshing and elegant wines. Winters are moderate and the protection of the Andes rarely causes night frost. Irrigation with melt water.

soil

Single vineyard located in Vista Flores (Tunuyán) at an altitude of 1054m. Sandy soils with a lot of loam in the higher parts and more stone and boulders in the lower parts.

vinification

The grapes are picked by hand at three different times in different sections of the vineyard. Separate maceration and fermentation on French and American oak for 9 months. Only then is the final blend made and bottling follows.
