2024 Tar & Roses Victoria Pinot Grigio 0.75 Ltr. White
picture of

Brilliant light, yellow color. Exotic nose with hints of peach, lychee and a hint of passion fruit. The taste is full (typical Pinot Grigio) slightly sweet, luscious fruit that is perfectly balanced with the fresh acidity and lively character of the wine. The final is long and pleasant and leaves you lingering for a while.

Fried white, firm fish, king prawns à la plancha, Mediterranean salads and more exotic fish dishes.

climate

The higher the altitude, the more the heat is tempered and the more regular the precipitation. Warm summers with sufficient coolness during the night. The different winds also provide cooling and protect the vineyards against fungi and other bad influencers.

soil

King Valley: Better known as the Australian home to many Italian grapes. Located in the Australian Alps with its typical red clay/loam soils and good water management. Other vineyards in Sutton Grange and Nagambie.

vinification

The grapes are harvested mechanically. Classic temperature controlled fermentation between 10 and 15°C. The different harvests are fermented separately and then blended. Bottling normally takes place in mid-June.
